Two young boys Baaka and Nika had a dream to bring life back to the abandoned tea plantation in Guria, Georgia. They founded company “Greengold” and despite facing many challenges, they didn't give up. In 2017, they started their tea rehabilitation journey. With hard work, dedication and a passion for tea, they successfully rehabilitated 25 ha of land. The plantation was flourishing once again, providing employment opportunities and a source of income for the local community. Baaka and Nika's efforts were recognized by people far and wide, and they became an inspiration to many. The once abandoned tea plantation was now a thriving and successful business, thanks to their efforts.
As the tea plantation grew, Greengold began to experiment with different technologies and techniques, resulting in the creation premium quality teas. These teas quickly gained popularity, not just in Georgia but across the European Union.
The young boys' tea business continued to grow, and they were soon exporting their tea to several countries within the EU. The demand for their tea was increasing and they were able to employ more people from the local community, providing them with a steady source of income. Nika and Baaka’s dream had become a reality, and they were proud of what they had accomplished.
